Angie has an unwavering love for all animals—big or small, wild or tame. She believes every creature deserves kindness and respect, and few things upset her more than the thought of an animal being hurt. Even for those who aren’t fond of certain species, she gently reminds us that care and compassion are always essential, because cruelty is never okay.
Born and raised in Shropshire, a beautiful part of England, Angie’s lifelong connection to nature and animals was shaped by her surroundings. As a child, she was surrounded by a wonderful mix of furry and feathered companions—a dog, a cat, and a budgie. She even had the joy of looking after her school’s guinea pigs during the holidays, an experience that taught her responsibility and filled her heart with happiness.
Her journey into writing began with a deep desire to share her love for animals and the natural world, and to inspire others through storytelling. That passion led her to write her memoirs, capturing the experiences, challenges, and joys that have shaped her life and values. Writing allows Angie to connect with others and share meaningful messages, while reading and learning remain constant sources of inspiration and growth. She cherishes every opportunity to explore new ideas and deepen her understanding.
One of Angie’s favourite quotes is by Eleanor Roosevelt: “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” It’s a reminder of self-worth and resilience—an encouragement to stand tall and honour one’s value, no matter the challenges faced. She also holds close the wisdom of Aesop: “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted,” believing that even the gentlest gestures can ripple outward and create lasting change.
When she’s not writing, Angie loves exploring the countryside and curling up with a good book. Autumn is her favourite season, with its crisp air and golden leaves, and she’s a devoted fan of cozy evenings spent watching classic films like It’s a Wonderful Life.
Thank you for being here. Angie hopes her words offer comfort, connection, or simply a moment of quiet kindness. You’re always welcome to explore and reflect.
Millie and Dutchess have shaped my heart in ways only dogs can.
Millie was a rescue — quiet, cautious, and full of hidden courage. Dutchess came to us as a pup, playful and protective from the start. Watching them grow together, side by side, taught me about trust, healing, and the quiet language of love. It was Millie’s journey — from fear to friendship — that inspired me to write Millie-Moo and Dutchess Too, a story born from their bond and the gentle lessons they gave me. Though both have now passed over the rainbow bridge, their love still echoes in everything I write. They’re not just my dogs; they’re part of my story.
My family is the heart of everything I do.
Paul, my husband of 40 years, has been my steady companion through every season. Our daughters, Katyia and Natalia, each bring their own light — Katyia with her husband Leo, and Natalia with her partner Connor, fill our days with laughter and love. Saxon, our youngest grandson, reminds us daily of life’s wonder. And Lucian, our precious grandson who passed away at just nine hours old, remains forever part of us — his memory woven into every word I write, every quiet moment I honour. His brief life inspired my book Being a Nan to My Grandson in Heaven, a tribute to love, grief, and the invisible bond that endures. This collage holds not just faces, but stories, love, and the threads that bind us together.
